For our customer in Amsterdam we are looking for a freelance DevOps engineer with AWS experience
Environment
Our customer builds e-commerce, banking and mobile middleware plaforms. The engineering team is skilled in cloud, security, and both Linux and Windows. The working environment is informal but professional.
Our customer is advanced partner for Amazon Webservices (AWS) and uses technology that includes Puppet, CheckMK, ELK stacks, Rundeck, Octopus, New Relic, Bamboo and JMeter. Plus, of course, all of the native cloud solutions that AWS and Azure offer, like Cloudformation, ARM templating. Additionally our CI/CD tooling relies on Jenkins.
Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will ensure the continuous improvement of existing platforms and build new platforms. Automate everything; including provisioning, monitoring and continuous delivery elements. With your contribution, platforms are scalable and autonomous, releases go live without any downtime, and platforms are secure. Developing automated load/performance tests, penetration tests and functional/smoke tests are all part of the job.
